Purpose

•The purpose of the 2008 contest is to allow the creativity of youth in the CEC to flourish by asking them to create an original campaign to preserve the sanctity of life.

•Through the creativity of the ideas we gather, we will be able to further advance the ideas through the ministry of CEC for Life.

Rules and Guidelines

The age groups are:

•13-15

•16-18

•19-23

Each person participating should produce an original idea that they believe would promote the Sanctity of Life in a peaceful way and that would draw others into the battle.  Following is a list of activities that sprang from ideas that God gave to people in the Pro-life movement. These campaigns have been very effective and widely adopted throughout the Body of Christ.

•Silent Siege

•Silent Day of Awareness

•Pro-Life T-Shirt Day

•Operation Rescue

•Crosses matched to number of abortions

•Rock for Life (began leading pro-life youth to spread message through music).

•Sidewalk Counseling

You might produce a powerful Pro-life video or music CD or Create a website that specifically addresses an issue concerning life.

. Grading

•Since each person must produce an original creative idea, each entry will be graded accordingly. Incorporation of some of the techniques listed above can be used to assist in producing an original idea.

•Deadline for turning projects in is May 15, 2008

•Winners will be announced June 1, 2008.

•Award for Original Creative Idea

•Each winner will receive expenses paid for to attend the International. Convocation in Orlando, FL. in order to be recognized for their work and present their idea to other youth.
